The first was the Czech Republic. We stopped on the way to Prague in Chlum U Trebone. At first, we couldn't find the hotel and it was a converted hospital next to a lake. We had lunch at a pub in the town and it was funny because Mum and Dad thought they could spend Euros and had no money to pay the bill with.

We only stayed there for one night and on the way to Prague we stopped at a nice town called Tabor for lunch.

Our accommodation in Prague was in a good location, near trams and was next to the Staroprama Brewery which makes beer that is popular throughout Europe.
In Prague, we had a day exploring the city; Dad and I had an afternoon where we went to the top of a mini Eiffel tower with great views of the city. We also had a day when we walked up to the Cathedral and Castle overlooking the city before getting the tram back to the apartment.

After Prague,we headed to Poland via Brno for a night, and checked in to our apartment in the old town of Krakow. It was a really good location, and on one of the days, we visited a pool complex with the craziest slides.

Dad and Ella also went to Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was difficult to imagine we were in a place that only a few years ago was so horrific and quite unbelievable.

After Krakow, we headed to Slovakia, and were lucky that we stayed at quite a random apartment in Tatranska Lomnica. We were back in the mountains, and had great weather. On one day we hired some mountain bikes and almost got lost!

After a couple of days we went to a Bobrovsky so that we could visit Slovakia's largest waterpark - Gino Paradise. There were so many slides and pools; some of the pools were mud coloured from the spring water, and went up to 42 degrees celsius!

We then headed to Budapest in Hungary where we were staying for 4 nights. We had a great apartment. Whilst we were there we visited a Cat Cafe, and managed to find a cat that looked just like our old cat Stoli! We also spent a lot of time exploring Budapest using the trams. We spent a day at Budapest's Sziget festival and it was crazy! We saw a number of bands play, helped release 20,000 balloons into the air, were interviewed and photographed by the TV company twice, and saw Robbie Williams!
